Delete Your Account

This page applies to the TutoLink mobile app (Android package com.gettutolink.app) and to accounts for parents, students and tutors. You can delete your account from inside the app, or ask us to delete it without installing the app.

1. Delete from the App

1. Open the TutoLink app and log in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll down to Account and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete account again.

You are logged out straight away and can no longer log in. Your account is fully deleted within 7 days.

2. Delete without the App

If you no longer have the app, email us from the email address or phone number registered with your account and include:

• Your account type: Parent, Student or Tutor.
• Your registered email address or phone number.
• Your Student ID, if you are deleting a student account.

• Your login and your profile: name, email, phone number, address and profile photo.
• Children's student profiles linked to a parent account, including their Student ID.
• Chat conversations and messages, including photos, files and voice notes sent in chat.
• Tuition location and map pin.
• Tutor applications, qualifications, documents and interview details.
• Notifications and push notification tokens.
• Messages sent through the website contact form.

5. What We Keep, and for How Long

Some records must be kept by law. We keep them with your name and contact details removed, so they can no longer identify you:

• Payment and invoice records (amount, date, payment reference): kept for up to 8 years, as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
• Tutor payroll records: kept for up to 8 years, as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
• Class and attendance history: kept without personal details, because it supports the payment and payroll records above.

Backups containing deleted data are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
